You know that saying, “Love me, love my dog,” right? Well, it’s true.
And it’s even truer still when you change the word ‘dog’ to ‘kids’.
Love me, love my kids.
Brinley has been giving up her afternoon nap. Slowly but surely, she sleeps less and less with each passing month and it’s kind of sad.
Well, they didn’t actually walk into a bar, but they did go trick-or-treating and got so hopped up on chocolate and high fructose corn syrup that they are still kind of buzzing.
Something has changed in her.
She has become self-aware.
There is a boy her in class who gives her butterflies in her tummy.
She doesn’t like to wear her hair up; she prefers it down by her face.
This past weekend we loaded up my sweet minivan with some of my closest girlfriends and we headed out to Rockridge Canyon just outside of Princeton, BC for a Women’s Retreat.
