My kids got to MEET FRED PENNER this weekend. I had to work so missed this special moment but Steve was there to bask in the glory.
Same spray park, same kid, same pattern on her bathing suit…just six years between the photos. I can’t even.
She made me a momma, that tiny little peanut of a girl. And now she’s almost eight. With an infectious laugh, melodramatic tendencies, tiny freckles across her nose, and wild tendrils of chestnut hair.
There was a Father-Daughter night at the church a couple weeks ago and it was an Olympics-themed event. Avelyn went as a figure skater and Steve as a hockey player.
Remember how I said I liked my bangs? Well, I have changed my mind.
The hassle now outweighs the benefits and I think I am going to grow the shaggy strands out, starting now.
Karenna snapped this photo today, capturing the blur of the morning.
