When I got home from work today Steve huffed, “I didn’t like your post today.”
He wants the world to know that he was only dressed in paint-splattered camo pants, dirty crocs and a thrift store button-up shirt because he was painting the cabin all day long so he needed to wear his grubbies.
It’s true. He’s been working mad hours to get the cabin ready for our tenants who arrive in two weeks and I am so proud of him. Camo pants and all.
He normally looks dapper and handsome and spiffy and wears only moderately wrinkled shirts because his lazy wife refuses to iron.
Now you know!

Oh, we know how dapper his is!
I, too, don’t like to iron. I do it well, but choose not to ;)
Oh whatever, no need to defend his attire, in my books. I have my ironing board out for the.. second? time in my marriage, this week. Why, you ask? sewing!
Cute, cute, cute!!
PS… I bought more non-fat cool whip and strawberries/blueberries for my dessert tonight! Yum!
Tell steve that it doesn’t matter what he wears. His cousin shelley will always think the world of him!
Good, I’m glad to hear that. Cause I was really starting to wonder…!!!
Oh how I hate ironing. I have been trying for a very long time to convince Mark to love those shirts that do not require ironing but so far it has been a losing battle.
I have always found the young man’s fashion sense to be impeccable — almost on a par with my own.
I’ve only seen a few photos of him, but I thought the camo photo made him look super hot (I’m sure he is super hot, but I’m just saying that THIS photo made me think it!). He looks like a model and he knows he looks damn good in that outfit!
The test of a handsome man is that he can still look handsome in paint splattered cargo pants and crocs. He passed!
Tell him that my husband wears clothes from that era even when he’s NOT painting.
Nice correction. More proof you should be writing for a paper.
pssst. tried to email you but hotmail drop kicked me.
Shoot, your husband looks handsome regardless of what he wears. That’s right..I said it.
