Yesterday Steve and I stopped for an ice-cream cone (my idea) then drove up into the bush (his idea) to relax by a little lake and just enjoy some time as a family. We brought Avelyn along in her car seat and she slept for the entire bumpy ride, even with Rolo licking her face intermittently. It was so nice to just get out in the fresh, quiet air, and realize that we are, in fact, a family. A mom, a dad, a baby, and very muddy little hound.
I like my family.
