Little miss Avelyn Paige Brown arrived yesterday morning at 10:31, weighing in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces.
I stopped by and held her last night – she’s beautiful! So, so beautiful. Brown hair, and a sweet button nose.
Christy, Jen & Tianna were there after me, and Christy took a bunch of pictures. Check out her site.
Amanda looks amazing, per usual, and Steve is a proud Papa. Thanks to everyone for all of your thoughts and prayers!
**UPDATE** I got the spelling of the name incorrect on the first post (didn’t get it straight from Amanda). It’s Avelyn Paige. Still a beautiful name for a beautiful girl!

How wonderful! The pictures tell it all. You look fabulous, Amanda. One would never know of all the hours of pain, by your face filled with joy. You too, Steve! I know you were hurting for Amanda too…..not as much, mind you.
Interesting how you have given your daughter the middle name of Paige – the same as yours. When you were a little girl, I told you how much I liked the name Paige. You wrinkled your nose with displeasure and told me ” I don’t like that name” … well, I’m glad you changed your mind. Where did Avelyn come from?
