Friends Are Swell

Thankful

I think there’s some sort of cheesy quote the says "People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime."  I have known Jen for over a decade now and was so happy that she came to live in Summerland for a while.  She and her hubby have decided to move back to the prairies and will be leaving in a little over a month.  While I will be so sad to see them go, I am so thankful for the months we’ve been able to share here.  It has been so good to reconnect and remember why we’ve been friends for so long.  I completely respect her decision to move and I wish nothing but the best.
Jen and I have been friends for what feels like a lifetime, but this season here in Summerland has been extra special and I know we’ll always look back on the great times we shared here.

  • …aw…

While this “season” of our friendship was definitely fantastic and a highlight, I hope I fall under that catergory of “lifetime” friend. :)

    I love you!

  • I’m sad for you and all the ladies in your town that will miss Jen. I’ve enjoyed reading about how the two of you rekindled your friendship.

I remember Jen saying to you in high school how it wouldn’t be long until you were drinking coffee watching your children play. Enjoy your last weeks of being neighbours and think of all the extra excuses you’ll both have for taking holidays:)

  • P.S. Please refrain from posting hideous pictures of me on your blog.

    I am not kidding.

    ;)

  • I don’t want Jen to go, it’s been such a blessing getting to know her and Jordan and Abi. They’ll be missed a lot here in Summerland.

  • Their moving back? Yeah I respect their decision too, but oh man…I will miss them!
We’ll need to have a big huge going away party.

  • Yep, a party’s in order – we’ll send her off in style, despite the fact that we’ll all be SO SAD to see her go.

Glad you guys got to reconnect, and the rest of us got to know her too :)
