Pregnancy

ABCD…E?!?!?

When I found out I was pregnant, my friend Jen and I decided that at least once during my gestational period we would go, guilt-free, to the Pizza Hut lunch buffet and dine on greasy, doughy pizza pies.  I have been looking forward to that day for the past, oh, 36.5 weeks and it finally came today. We decided to make an event out of it and go to Kelowna to do some shopping, then finish up with the long-awaited lunch.  The buffet was well worth the wait and I enjoyed the piping hot pizza.  I didn’t overdo it; just enjoyed the yummines until I was pleasantly full.  Pizza and me, we really do get along famously.
The only thing I really needed to get in Kelowna was some nursing bras, to have on hand for when the baby arrives and my milk comes surging in.  I had been advised to buy a nursing bra that is one cup size bigger than I am at present.  Which means that the bras I walked out of the maternity store with today were (drumroll, please)…. E-CUPS.  E.  As in, the letter that comes after D.
Sweet sassy molassy.

  • yup. Your boobies are huge.

  • I didn’t know E EXISTED!

    :)

  • I don’t know if you remember Gina R. but when she worked at the Sears catalogue place she had a lady order a ZZ, yes double Z. I can’t imagine the pain of carrying those around! Steve must love all the fabric you’re covered in right now, lol!

  • I’ve gone from an A cup to a C cup through this pregnancy but when I got fitted for nursing bras I ended up with a D-cup. It’s more dramatic than puberty!

  • sorry that last comment was me. (And it’s 7 in the morning here on the 22nd, strange to see it only show up as the 21st!)

  • i don’t even know where to begin with the whole nursing bra issue. may i ask what brand you ended up with?

  • I can’t even imagine.

  • That must be a giant bra. I’m guessing it must be somewhere between the size of a pillow case and a parachute.
