Today is the last day of Spring Break.
Oh, we had some fun, that’s for sure. But we are all ready to get back into a bit of routine, and the start of spring soccer and horse lessons and sunshine. We spent the first week of the break at the local ski hill and the girls took lessons and I am so proud of them! They are confidently making it down black diamond runs, which blows my mind. I am a prairie girl at heart so mountains kind of freak me out and I am a cautious and clumsy skier. Bridget Jones is my spirit animal, is what I’m saying.
The girls are growing up so fast. Look at Karenna, almost cresting her first ten years on the globe.
My mom and dad drove here for the second week of the break since, in years past, this is usually when the wheels start to fall of my life as we attempt to juggle the crazy with three kids off school. They take such good care of us.
We wrapped things up with a delicious Easter feast last night, and tomorrow brings the promise of SCHOOL!
Happy Spring, all!

Such great pictures! And ski lessons sounds like such fun for skiers and audience members alike!
We too had two weeks (plus a day on either end WHY) of spring break. By the time we reached the middle of week 2, I was tapped out. AND I ONLY HAVE THE ONE. Well. Now we are back to the routine and my house is quiet and I am missing my kid. I guess you can’t win!
