There is, like, 14 feet of snow outside right now and it’s one of those Hibernation Days. My work has quieted down to a steady (instead of frantic) pace in the past while and it’s a welcome change after a very full year. I have been folding my way through Mt. Laundry, watching Broadchurch (so good!) and doing a bit of baking. Right now I’ve got the InstaPot cooking up some chicken so I can make us this for dinner.

Christmas prep is about as done as it’s going to be and it is so nice to just hunker down, reflect on the year gone by, and be thankful for the opportunity to rest and recharge a bit.
