Walk On

While the third trimester has made me feel quite cumbersome and hefty, it has almost been more comfortable than the first and second trimesters.  See, the first trimester was wrought with overhwelming fatigue, greasy pimples, fiercely tender ta-tas and unpredictable mood swings.  Then came the second trimester, where many of the aforementioned symptoms were supposed to ease up, but failed to.  Add to that, feeling chubby and all the worries that came about the health of our little one.  But now that the third trimester is here, I am basically living the high life.  Sure, it’s awfully hard to get out of bed once I’ve laid down and I have to strategically heave my weighty torso to one side before venturing out for my dozens of midnight pees.  And there are the stretchmarks. (Remember how they were only on my right side?  Well, the left side was apparently feeling left out and have begun sporting some matching marks.  Awesome.) But aside from that, I am feeling great!  My body seems to have adjusted to the weight of my belly and I am actually able to go for long walks again and I have been enjoying this new-found mobility.  People tell me I have that ‘glow’ and that’s pretty nice to hear, too.  And my weight gain has slowed down substantially in the past few weeks and I hope to maintain this glorious plateau.  And I only have two days of work left then I get to nest, nest, nest.  Or, go to the beach and sip on a 4-litre slurpee.  Same difference.

I REALLY need to post some photos.  This blog is looking mighty dull, what with all the words and no images to break them up.  I’ll get on it.  Maybe tonight.

Until then…
