Here is what January looked like:
Lots of crying, during the day and the night.
Crazy eyes from cabin fever.
An impromptu haircut from Dad at the kitchen table one night after discovering the head lice were back in full form. SO OVER IT. (Her tightest curls were at the bottom of her hair and now they’re gone. Someone hold me.)

Aw…the cut is cute – the curls will be back but I understand that you’d miss them! (maybe not miss brushing the hair so much?)
She looks freakin’ adorable, though! Such a pretty little lady!
Whew! Good thing Dad didn’t have a razor handy!! lol
After dealing with lice with Kaylie (worst. thing. ever.), I learned that lice like clean hair. So, we started washing her hair only once a week. I kept it up and done, never ever down at school, and we haven’t had an incident since.
Avelyn’s haircut looks adorable! I know how hard it must have been to cut her hair, as Kaylie’s hair was/is similar. I still haven’t cut Liliana’s hair and I’m not looking forward to when I have to!
When our daughter got head lice (and our hours-long at-home comb-through session wasn’t good enough), we took her to a special lice-removing salon! This is the one we went to, maybe there’s something similar near you? http://www.hairwizardssalon.com/
I can imagine how hard that was to let go of her hair, but I LOVE her cut now!
Wow. I loved her curls, but that haircut is so great on her. She looks so old!!!
And I love those other shots too. Crazy eyes. Haha.
I also am pulling for a better February.
I didn’t know Steve had cut her hair. Wow! I’m impressed, he did a good job! Maybe he could start cutting Bob’s hair :)
Smells like spring….Feb is bound to be better!
February has to be better. It HAS to. Or I’m running away.
I think the cut looks great on her, too. :)
