Yesterday I was feeling a little blue. My parents and brother left after our horrid Christmas together and I was feeling disappointed with how things had went: I had looked so forward to their visit, then it came, it kind of sucked, and then it was over. All that remained was the sour smell of old barf on the sofa. The house was in shambles, there was so much left to clean and organize, I was feeling fat (since I’m the only one who didn’t get the flu, it became my sole duty to consume all the Christmas goodies) and a shadow of “blah” had settled in my heart.
Steve had taken the day off so we decided to get out, snag some fresh air, go sledding and shake the blues away.
It worked.
Then we opened the tailgate and had a drink. We had ginger ale, but I think someone slipped Karenna a couple beers while we weren’t looking.
I’m feeling much better today. How about you?

So glad to hear a little snow and family time cleared away the post Christmas blues. You know I also hear a visit to Chilliwack fixes just about anything… :)
