OhmahWORD. There are no words to convey just how barftastic this Christmas has been. I’ll spare you the details, but eight out of the ten folks in this house came down with the juiciest virus you can possibly imagine. Brinley and I are the only ones who haven’t been hit yet, but I think it’s just a matter of time before you’ll be hearing our splatters hit the floor.
I feel a little cheated, but we’re keeping our chins up. There are families we know who have recently lost loved ones and I know they’d give their left legs if it meant they could all be together for another Christmas, barfing their guts out together. I really am so thankful for the mayhem, the love, the tantrums, the craziness, the cuddles and the family I am surrounded by. I hope you can say the same.
Merry Christmas, all.

Merry Christmas and I hope you manage to avoid getting sick yourself!
Oh. My. Word. Sucktastic! I’m glad you all get to be together though!! :)
That’s terrible!
And Amanda …. I didn’t even know that was Brinley in the top picture. I saw it in my feed and thought you posted a stock photo:( Seriously, I wouldn’t have recognized her in a million years. Here’s hoping for many Westjet gift cards for my bday!
I hope your family recovers soon. I had the flu last weekend, it sucked. But this weekend, today, we are having our first Christmas without my father. He died in April. Also, December 25th, today, would have been his 51st birthday. My mom, brother and I are coping pretty well, and are thankful we are together, the three of us. Merry Christmas, Amanda.
Merry Christmas! I hope you’re all feeling better soon and are able to enjoy some “well” time together!
That is a beautiful picture of Brinley. Stay healthy you two. Hope the rest recover very quickly.
