Playdates are fun. Today Abby and Jen came over and we had fun watching the girls interact. Avelyn stomped her legs down to little nubs in the exersaucer while Abby tried to smother her with kisses. Then I read Abby a book that was about cows and added my own narration about udders and how milk comes from pulling on the cow’s teats. Jen said this would be our last playdate. At least we got some cute pictures.

This next one is one of my favourites of Avelyn and captures one of her many hammy facial expressions. Abby doesn’t look amused. Probably because she’s scarred from hearing about those cow teats.

I talked to Steve today and he is having a grand ol’ time hugging koalas and chasing dingos. I asked him if he had checked my blog to see a photo of my new hair. He had. He said it looked "pretty good". In other words, he misses the yellow blonde. Three words, Stevie: deal with it.
I LOVE it and that’s what you GET for leaving the country!

Has Avelyn grown even more hair in a wk? We miss you! I’m glad you’re having fun – at least you can miss Steve & be surrounded with fam & friends. He’ll love your new “do” – 3 wks. is a long time to be away!

wow… guess what I just stumbled upon! Hrm… just in case you’re not sure who this right off the bat… I’m the fellow who loved your teeth once upon a time… and got quite pissed off at Steve (if I recall…) for brushing w/ his little buzzing tooth brush w/ his mouth hanging open as the toothpaste froth drooled from his lips… :P
