This week hasn’t been so stellar. Steve and Avelyn showered our carpets with barf and were both diagnosed with H1N1, Karenna has croup and is pushing through a nasty molar, we lost our chance at the Home Depot contest by one measly spot, the house is in shambles, the baby won’t stop crying, and I am the last one standing, but for how long?Â
Just feeling pretty done ’round here.

If it’s any consolation, my son’s reaction to Halloween was just as stellar.
Lord have mercy, you poor thing! Hang in there!! It can only get better from here. And if you’re anything like me you are better at directing your barf than everyone else, so all you have to worry about is who is going to deal with the kids while you’re puking. And that’s if you get it. Hopefully you don’t!! Take care ;)

I’m SO sorry this has been such an awful week. If there is anything at all that you need or that I can do to help just let me know. Seriously. Even if it’s just that you really need a Kelly Kicker and some trashy magazines.

Abby was also Ariel for Halloween but your wig is 10000x times better. Abby had to use a crazy hair red woman’s size wig that I had to cut devil horns off of. hahaha!
I can’t remember but was there a photo in your blog a few years ago where your older daughter was dressed as a lobster and you were a cook with her in the pot??
Anyways, cute girls and cute costumes. Too bad you didn’t win the Home Depot contest. I think you need a spa day to refreshen and revive yourself. I have one booked tomorrow. Happy Mum=Happy Family ;)
Hi, Andrea. Yes, we did dress up Avelyn in that lobster costume when she was a teeny baby…and stuck her in a pot accordingly. This year I thought I’d reuse it, thus the Ariel & Sebastian idea was born. :)
