The party was a hit, although many of our regulars were unable to attend (as IF having a baby trumps our Hallowe’en gathering, Tianna!). There was much pumpkin carving, chocolate consumption and also, barfing and soupy pooping, if your name happened to be Avelyn Paige. She was in her (ridiculously adorable) costume for about 14 minutes before the upchucking and number twoing commenced and we managed to snag a few photographic gems.

Thanks to Leah for the stellar costume idea. In years past I would spend weeks coming up with a great costume idea for me and Steve. This year, it was all about the baby. I had her costume picked out months ago and then was fumbling around at the last minute to think of what Steve and I should dress as.
Next year, I promise there will be some Lloyd and Harrying going down.
I had better start combing the thrift stores already if I hope to find a tuxedo jacket in the perfect shade of canteloupe.
