Thanks to all your prompting, I decided to take Angella up on her offer to take some maternity photos. Here are a few of my favourites.

At yesterday’s prenatal appointment everything looked well. Blood pressure, baby’s heartbeat, weight gain, fundal measurement…things are all on track. Yesterday afternoon I thought I might be going into labour since I had some long-awaited bloody show. Turns out my cervix was just a little grumpy about being poked and prodded by the doctor, since no contractions materialized.
In other exciting news, after a month of disrepair our dishwasher is fixed! It’s both a blessing and a curse being married to a handyman. See, the dishwasher broke four weeks ago and Steve knew he’d be able to fix it himself so he refused to call a repairman. The trouble is, between cherry harvest and strep throat and his two full-time jobs, his time was limited and my fingers were morphing into angrier prunes with each passing day from all the hand washing. I used to complain about having to unload the dishwasher but I will never do that again. I will now gently caress my dishwasher and say “thank you” to it after every load for the rest of my life.
Here’s hoping my next post features a photo of our scrunchy, unnamed child. Until then…

Those pictures are way cute!! Only was I would ever consider it is if the photog promised to edit out all my stretch marks! I dont have any from the actual pregnancy just ones from getting really fat when I was younger!! :)

You look beautiful! Do you take a bad photo? I’ve been trying to think of baby names, but my mind has gone blank. I have a friend whose daughter’s name is Araya, (uh-ray-uh) which is rare and beautiful! I also love Madelyn, but it’s becoming more popular. Anyways, I’m sure you’ll come up with something great…Have you asked Avelyn what she thinks it should be? That could be interesting! Take care and keep us posted!
Can’t wait to see the baby update, but Emily is right – we need to see the nameless baby’s room first! And I was a Labor Day baby myself many decades ago – here’s hoping the little one arrives safely and on time :)

I was actually hugest with my second pregnancy, smallest with my third, which I attribute to chasing my two year old all over creation while pregnant.
