Not quite sure how this happened but: it’s December.
I haven’t written in a long while, but that’s OK. I have been living life.
Steve was asked to pose for some promotional photos for the Okanagan Tree Fruit Cooperative.
Avelyn, unbeknownst to me, snapped this photo one day, of my working from our home office (aka: my chronically unmade bed), talking to a client.
This summer kicked my rear. Hard.
I said yes. They asked if I would ride my bike 90 km on their team and before I had even sat perched on a road bike, I said yes.
I said yes.
We did it! Three nights in the wilderness! There were showers and bathrooms, so it wasn’t unbearable, but it was definitely out of my comfort zone and SO MUCH WORK! I think camping is great if you’re the kid
