This was the first year Avelyn really understood the delights of Halloween. She had a blast running from house to house, bellowing “Trick or treat!” and holding out her sagging bag of candy, asking for more.
I found her costume for five dollars at the local thrift store. I was going to add a dash of creativity by making a little “hunny” pot for her to carry as a candy holder. But then I didn’t.
She hasn’t asked about her candy haul this morning so I am going to tuck it away for my Weight Watchers flex days safe keeping.

Avelyn is mighty cute as Pooh Bear! What was Jolie?
An adorable Pooh. It was nice to hold Jolie on Thursday. She sure lives up to her name. Now I have baby envy.
Super cute!
So cute!!!
Oh my goodness, How adorable! I can just see Avelyn going nuts—and what about Jolie? I wish I could have seen them.Another thing–where were those five dollar costumes when you were a kid? We could have avoided a whole lot of trauma.
Haha… love it! She is adorable! Did Jolie have a costume?
